'Al Fresco Paint & Sip' Launches in London

Mindful painting in the sunshine while sipping cocktails with friends is a sure-fire way to boost the mood. Al Fresco Paint & Sip is one of a series of new classes launching at MasterPeace. The mindful art studio reopens in Eccleston Yards on 17 May, just weeks after founder Zena El Farra appeared on the BBC's Dragons' Den, securing support from Deborah Meaden.*

After a bleak winter behind our own closed doors, many of us are seeking new leisure experiences, with a preference for the great outdoors. Painting is already a proven way to boost your mood, so add to that the social connection we've all been craving, and a good burst of feel-good sunshine (research shows that Vitamin D can positively impact emotional heath), these new al fresco art classes serve up a post-lockdown serotonin boost all round.

Al Fresco Paint & Sip - £45 (90mins)
Spaces are selling fast for these fun new art classes, taking place in MasterPeace’s sunny courtyard. Choose from 10 beautiful painting kits, then work semi-independently, with a professional artist instructor on hand to guide you through your artwork.

The 90 minute experience includes an artist's gift set of brand new art materials to take home, as well as a complimentary cocktail / mocktail and sweet treat. And if the weather turns bad, the class can just head inside to the studio. The first Paint & Sip class is on Tuesday 18th May at 6pm.

Kids, Coached & Themed Masterclasses
Other classes on offer include a playful Kids Club experience for children aged 7-12, and the super popular ‘Coached’ sessions where you can link up your phone to one of MasterPeace's nifty lightbox projectors, so you can easily sketch then paint a picture that's personal to you.

Visit during the reopening week and take in the ‘Belgravia in Bloom’ festival (17-23 May), a week of on-street giveaways and floral themed promotions. Time your painting class to coincide with the floral themed market on Saturday 22 May in Eccleston Yards and Sunday market.

Effortless Art From Home
As well as in the studio, MasterPeace’s At Home Art Kits and newly launched IlluminArty projector, make it super simple to get creative at home. Businesses, families or groups of friends can also book in for a Virtual Arty Party.

* May 17th marks the Studio's first reopening since founder Zena appeared on the BBC's Dragons' Den on 1 April, 2021. MasterPeace had been open for just 6 months before the pandemic closed its doors. Deborah Meaden has helped the team to meet the challenges of lockdown and launch a new product.
