Christmas Hampers To Help Hungry Kids

Canvin & Catchpole, a 5th generation family butchers specialising in high quality, sustainable produce, has launched a selection of Christmas hampers to support the school food charity, Chefs in Schools. Each hamper ordered will provide up to 12 hot meals to help tackle child malnutrition in schools this Christmas.

Canvin & Catchpole joined forces with a number of local food brands to launch their new Christmas Hamper Range which includes their award winning Aberdeen Angus Dry Aged Beef Rib along with booze infused Smoked Salmon, Black Truffle Cheddar and more. This year, it is the ideal gift to share with loved ones and, in doing so, support local, sustainable food producers rather than other large online multinationals.

Chefs in Schools

And because Christmas is all about sharing, Canvin & Catchpole is donating 12 meals per hamper sold to Chefs in Schools and their  #giveasausage initiative. The Chefs in Schools team will use handmade C&C sausages to feed secondary schools kids in London. It is their aim to feed in excess of 3000 children this holiday season.

Hamper for Everyone

The Christmas hampers will be delivered throughout December and must be pre-ordered  by the 30th November to give them time to Dry Age the cuts of beef for the perfect meal this Christmas.

Three types of hampers are available:

• Full House Hamper – Christmas Day sorted for the family

• Breakfast Bundle Hamper – Premium Breakfast for 6

• Free From Afternoon Tea Hamper – A selection of dairy and gluten free sweet treats

‘At Canvin & Catchpole our focus is on making the world a better place by supplying our customers with the very best locally sourced produce, giving back to the land that provides us with our food and being active in local charities. This year, we have dedicated our charitable Christmas Hampers to helping under nourished secondary school children.  Through working with Chefs in Schools, I am delighted to follow in my grandfather’s  footsteps and donate food to those in need at Christmas. We hope the delicious goodies will  brighten up people’s homes and the hot meal donations will do the same for children in need too,’ said Luke Canvin, Canvin & Catchpole.
