Building on the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, Euphoria Retreat’s ten-day Wellbeing Festival returns from 19-28 June 2026 with an expanded and more immersive vision, rooted in Macrozoe - the Greek philosophy of living well, fully, and with purpose. More than a traditional retreat, the festival is designed as a transformative exploration of longevity, bringing together world-leading practitioners while guiding each guest to create a deeply personal roadmap to long-term health.

At its core, the festival invites a deeper and more meaningful question: what does it truly mean to live well? To age with strength, joy and grace and with purpose? To feel connected to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world? Through the lens of Macrozoe, these ideas are explored not only intellectually, but experientially - offering a rare opportunity to understand how this philosophy is authentically lived within Greek culture, and how it can be meaningfully integrated into modern life.

The 2026 programme will feature an exceptional line-up of internationally recognised practitioners, including Dr Louise Newson, a leading voice in women’s hormone health; Tiffany Cruikshank, founder of Yoga Medicine®; Meghan Currie, renowned for her intuitive approach to movement; MC YOGIknown for his uplifting fusion of music and mindfulness; Michael Clinton, founder of ROAR forward, acclaimed author and longevity expert; Suntara & Helena Houdova, sound healers and breathwork facilitors; and Sanctum, the London-born method blending music, breathwork and high-intensity training. A cohort of leading Greek medical experts will also be present, reinforcing the retreat’s commitment to bridging global expertise with local knowledge.

Structured around key pillars - movement, mindfulness, nutrition, biohacking and human connection - the festival offers a carefully curated programme of movement sessions, talks, workshops, treatments and immersive experiences. Guests are invited not only to learn, but to practise, with dedicated time and space to integrate longevity rituals into everyday life.

Experiences range from yoga, psychosomatic practices and expressive somatic movement to meditation, breathwork and sound healing, alongside science-led insights into nutrition, preventative health and advanced biohacking. Access to diagnostic and therapeutic technologies - including metabolic testing, red light therapy and IV infusions - further supports a personalised approach to wellbeing.

Deeply rooted in its setting, the festival draws on the richness of the Greek landscape and culture. Guests will experience open-air meditation, forest bathing and the use of wild, native herbs, while a defining highlight of the programme is an authentic Greek panigiri in the nearby village of Mystras - a vibrant celebration of music, community and shared joy. This year, the festival will also introduce two complimentary events open to the local community, reinforcing its commitment to connection and cultural exchange.

Positioned as a more intimate and deeply human alternative to large-scale wellness events, a defining feature of the festival is its emphasis on presence, accessibility and meaningful interaction. Practitioners and guests share meals, conversations and experiences throughout the programme, creating a collaborative environment where knowledge is not only taught, but lived and exchanged.

“We were thrilled by the response to our inaugural Wellbeing Festival last year,” says Founder Marina Efraimoglou. “It created a genuine sense of community - something we believe is fundamental to long-term health and longevity. This year, we go deeper, offering more space to connect, to practise, and to truly embody the philosophy of Macrozoe.”

Set at the foothills of Mount Taygetus, Euphoria Retreat is located in the heart of the Peloponnese, overlooking the ancient region of Sparta and the Evrotas Valley. The surrounding landscape, characterised by pine forests, clear light and a long-standing association with healing - forms an integral part of the experience.

At the core of the retreat is its interpretation of Macrozoe, expressed through a distinctive blend of ancient Greek philosophy and contemporary wellbeing practices. Through its Euphoria Methodos Advanced Medical Programmes, the retreat is establishing itself as a leader in Greece’s emerging longevity space, combining diagnostic testing with personalised, natural therapies to support lasting health.

Following a highly successful inaugural year - which welcomed globally respected experts including Taryn Toomey, Human Garage founders Jason Van Blerk and Aisha Rodrigue, neuroscientist Hanna Poikonen and meditation teacher Emily Fletcher - the 2026 festival builds on this momentum with an even more expansive and integrated programme.

Reflecting on the experience, one 2025 guest shared:
“This was unlike any wellness event I’ve attended. It wasn’t just informative - it was deeply transformative. The combination of world-class expertise, meaningful human connection and the setting itself created a space where real, lasting change felt possible. I left not only restored, but with a completely new perspective on my health and how I want to live.”
