With a Total of Three Michelin Keys, Four Seasons Malaysia Shines Brightest in the Michelin Guide’s Inaugural Hotel Ratings for Malaysia
Global recognition for the brand’s properties in

Marking a milestone moment, the Michelin Guide has honoured both Four Seasons Malaysia properties in its inaugural hotel ratings for the country. Four Seasons Resort Langkawi was named the first and only two Michelin key hotel in Malaysia, while Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur was awarded one Michelin key.
With a total of just four Michelin key hotels in Malaysia, the distinction puts the two Four Seasons hotels in an elite group, affirming their place among the world’s most outstanding hospitality destinations.

Similar to its legendary restaurant stars, the Michelin Guide has introduced key ratings for hotels, based on evaluation across five criteria: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for the price, and significant contribution to the local setting.
Each Michelin key property is extraordinary, with two keys signifying “a hotel that’s unique in every way, where a memorable experience is always a guarantee” and one key denoting “a true gem with personality, where service always goes the extra mile”.
